The Information Lab (iLab) was created by Thomas Steele-Maley and in partnership with SVRSU 12 in Maine, U.S. as a design based research project that applies a 21st century approach to envision the impact of emerging technologies on learning and literacy. Research is ongoing through June of 2013.
Teachers, students and community members worked in blended learning environments, on integrated projects and in professional development to reshape education. iLab participants connected through a unique culture of learning by doing.
Thomas Steele-Maley will report out on the findings of The iLab project in 2013.
Thomas would like to thank Tom Toner, Deb Taylor, Deb Pooler, the students and staff of Wiscasset High School for their support and collaboration over the last two years.
