As new members of the WHS family, the iLab (eLearning and Information Studies Department, iTeam) would like to say “Welcome!” We hope that you enjoy your tenure here. We’ve put together these pages to help you understand what resources you’ll have available to you as a WHS Faculty, Staff, or Student.

Self Help:

The iLab maintains a eLearning and Tech Tutorial page providing self-help documentation.

Help Desk:

The Help Desk is located in the MacLab. Hours are 7:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Friday.

The Help Desk may also be contacted by calling WHS or by emailing .

Connecting to Wireless:

WHS has one dedicated wireless network.

WHS Network: covers academic and administrative buildings and is open to the public.

Learning Management System:

Beginning fall 2012, WHS will use a new learning management system (LMS) called Canvas. Canvas is an open LMS created by Instructure and that replaces Moodle in the WHS environment.

MLTI and Other Software

Faculty, students and staff:

MLTI  and other software packages are available on all WHS Macbooks for Administrators, Faculty and Students. Most paraprofessional  staff receive a WHS Macbook with a similar software package.  The iLab maintains a site where Faculty, students, parents and staff can learn about technology tools.

All Faculty, staff and students receive an email account. Information on how to access your account is available on our website and additional information is available from the iLab.
